Cheesecake Ahoy!!!!

One of my favorite desserts is a simple New York style cheesecake. Simple it maybe but it is not easy to find as most people seem to prefer the blueberry, mango variants but very few do it traditional style.

Moshe's is one of the places that does.

The other one is a pretty mean chocolate mousse cake which was fairly impressive. However i digress.

It was fairly good, did their New York label proud. The crust, the taste, not too hard and not too soft just traditional Jewish style with real cream cheese. No one does it Chicago style firm on the outside, creamy and soft on the inside. I guess you gotta take what you can get.

Good stuff. Also impressive is the price 185 ($4.50)

worth it though.

Hi, welcome to Bombay. There is plenty of authentic, fusion and all around interesting offerings.

Check out for user reviews of restaurants. You can also scour Time Out print & online for other ideas.

This blog also covers a wide variety of options and i have a few pointers for new comers.

If you have something specific in mind just drop me a question....

Hi Prianca,

thanks for the post. Haji Ali Juice Center is very close to where i live, in fact ill be driving by twice today itself but stopping by there usually never happens.

its too crowded and too horribly located at a busy junction. and i never make it out there without a car.

but im going to give it a shot one of these days !
