HOTwich
Rest:Hotwich
Location: Breach Candy & Chowpatty
Over the last couple of years a handful of local outlets have come into the fast food game. One of the better ones is Hotwich. You will usually find them connected to gelato. I reckon they have quite a few outlets across the city.

the falafal sandwich was not good at all. plain, tasteless ,unimaginative. i would avoid this one.
the mexican is excellent, tasty, sweetish, spicy. brilliant.
most of the sandwiches are priced between 90-95 bucks which is slightly on the high side i think. the whole thing is put together in front of you and takes a few mins (longer than it takes to put together a sub)

Crystal !
Rest : Crystal
Loc : Chowpatty next to Gant
Meal : Early dinner
So a rainy evening and the need for a quick, non-fussy dinner. We hit Crystal bang at 7pm and got lucky because in 20 mins there was a wait for a table. The place like i have mentioned before is small, unglamarous, dhaba like but with some seriously good food. Take it from someone as snobby as me.
While it is unfussy and sort of small, the service is fairly quick and you wont have to wait very long for anything.
Make sure you get some Chaas (buttermilk) or Thums up, the only two things you should have with food like this.
It is very easy to go through 4 chapattis but the rajma chawal(rice) is also a must have to pace yourself.
We got the Paneer Masala which was slightly spicy but just as good as the fluffy salty burji. The Chana masala was excellent. As was the Rajma Chawal.
The food is light, home style and very very easy on the wallet. If anyone ever kicks you out of home, you could easily subsist on this...

Celini
Rest : Celini
Meal : Lunch
Location : Grand Hyatt, Kalina.
They serve a delectable table bread and keep changing their salsa. This time was a really tasty tomato based little thing. I must have gorged on a ton of it.
The Soup was pretty weak. Minestrone in a pesto based, sounds good but really is not. Bland, tasteless, pointless.
The mushroom salad continues to be great. They go with a minimal of dressing and great, fresh mushrooms. Its quite a taste.
The main course was the Mushroom Risotto, while i did think it was excessive of me to order mushrooms again, my last meal here they served an excellent risotto. This time it was a lot flatter and not as tasty.
The pizza came recommended from a friend, while it was good, i think we chose the wrong topping (the quatro formaggi) should have stuck to the normal margherita. However the wife loved it and i would recommend pizza here.
Overall the layout of the place is poor, especially the non-smoking section as its exposed to the lobby. The service is friendly but fairly slow.
The pricing is on the expensive side. They do serve set lunches Pizza (900) Pasta (1200) for those who dont mind others fixing the menu for you.
Lunch for 2 without drinks 3000.
